You can change your keyboard language in Windows 7, if you simply follow the steps illustrated below.
Enter the command keyboard language on the search box of the Start menu. It will open this window:
You may click on Change Keyboards which opens this window:
The settings on this screenshot, and probably on your system too, show that US English is the default input language. The default keyboard is the US layout. If you want to insert a different input language, you can click Add which will open this window:
You can choose your desired keyboard language, and you can click on Preview to see the actual layout. For this example Mongolian is the language in the screenshot:
If you click OK, it will show a new language on the General tab of the Text Services and Input Languages window. For this example, you see Mongolian on top of the list, which still has US-English as the default language.
You also have the option to choose your default language once you reboot your computer by choosing the options from the drop-down menu under Default input language as shown below:
Once you click OK, you will see the default language on the lower right portion of your task bar:
You may also add or remove languages in the Text Services and Input Languages window under the General tab.
