    If you are using Windows Media Player 11 or 12 on your system, you can easily install a plugin that helps you maximize your Media Player experience.

    Windows Media Player Plus! is a free third party Media Player plugin that will have advanced features for a more entertaining experience.

    First of all, download and install Windows Media Player Plus! Make sure that you close your media player, or else, you’ll see this error message:

    After installation is successful, you have the option to run your Media Player. Clicking the option opens the Media Player Plus settings, as shown:

    Go to the main window of Media Player and make sure that your menu bar is showing so you can have a way to access your plugins. To show the menu bar, right click as shown below:

    To go to your Windows Media Player Plus plugin settings, click Tools and go to Plug-in properties, then click Windows Media Player Plus!

    You will see options under Library.

    Clicking on Disable group headers in the Library Pane will display a continuous list of items on your music library, similar to Media Player 10:

    The User Interface allows you to have access to Advanced Title Formatting of which artist is currently playing and the title.

    Under the Context Menu you will be able to change defaults on the right click menu on your media library.

    Go to your main Music Library and right click on a file. It will show the Windows Content Menu, where you can customize a lot of options:

    You can right click on Tag Editor Plus to edit the media tags.

    The Advanced tab of the Tag Editor shows you advanced internal tags which you may edit, but you need to be very careful here. Only work in this tab if you know what you are doing.

    The Restore Plug-ins lets you customize what happens if Windows Media Player crashes:

    Restore Media at Startup lets you restore the last item at Windows Player startup.
