    Add Additional Clocks to Windows Vista

    With Windows Vista you can now add two additional time zones with mini clocks that pop up when you hover the mouse over it.

    1. Right click on the clock in the taskbar and select Adjust Date/Time.

    2. Click on the Additional Clocks tab.
    3. Check the box for each additional clock and set it’s time zone.
    4. Enter a display name for your clock and hit OK.
    5. Now when you hover your mouse over or click on the clock you will see the additional clocks you just added

    Enable Hidden BootScreen in Windows Vista

    The default boot screen of Windows Vista is a black screen containing just a progress bar and the text “Microsoft Corporation”. Those of you who are tired of this boring default look of the Windows Vista Boot Screen, can enable the hidden boot screen.

    To make the change all you have to do is:

    1. type msconfig into the start menu search box, and hit enter.
    2. Click the Boot tab, and then check the “No GUI boot” check box.
    3. Hit OK and reboot the computer. You should see the new boot screen immediately.

    Note: You may get a Windows Defender error on the next startup. You can enable the system config utility using the tray icon and this error will go away. If for some reason you can no longer boot into windows after this change reboot, and while it’s booting, press F8 multiple times, and then select safe mode. Then uncheck the “No GUI boot” box.
