    Do I Have Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit Version?

    Question: I need to install an update on my computer. There are two different updates, one for 32bit and one for 64bit. How do I tell what version of Vista is on my computer?

    Here’s how to tell what version of Vista you have:

    Right click Computer in the Start Menu and click Properties. You will see the bit version under the System type section.
